Online casino and poker site Bodog.com is sponsoring a charity poker event to benefit the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation. The plan is to throw a high-profile party with numerous celebrities for this charitable event.

The Celebrity Poker Shootout at the 2nd Annual Treasure Island-Las Vegas Casino Night is scheduled for this Thursday, April 14th at the Santa Monica Airport's Barker Hanger.

Celebrities from the worlds of poker, Hollywood and basketball are expected to make appearances at Bodog's Poker Shootout. Among others scheduled to attend are Debra Messing, Shannon Elizabeth, Mimi Rogers, Breckin Meyer, as well as Chris, Danny and Jordan Masterson.

In total, 1200 celebrities, socialites and Lakers fans are expected to attend the poker extravaganza. All of the event's proceeds will benefit the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation.

The Celebrity Poker Shootout aims to appeal to poker fans of all levels of expertise; poker tutorials will be led by the "Bodog Girls."
