SPEED Channel has begun airing the Michael Waltrip Celebrity Poker Tournament, culminating with a 2 hour finale on June 2 at 8 pm ET.

Starting April 7, the racing network will show 1 hour installments of the tournament every Thursday at 9 pm.

The event took place earlier this year at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Participants included Kyle Petty, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Ryan Newman, and Dale Jarrett.

Thanks to the SPEED network, $100,000 were at stake. Half of the prize money benefited the Petty family's Victory Junction Gang Camp. The rest went to the winner's designated charity.
