Pocket Pairs

How do you play low pocket pairs like 22 33 44 55 66 77 etc.. I rarely raise with them, unlesss I'm playing a real tight table, and I generally call just about anything.. if I have the chips.. call even if its a 22 or 33. These in my opion are the trickiest cards to play, how exactly do you handle them?


I know that I WANT to see a flop, but the odds of tripping up are kind of low, and I am afraid I am getting myself into trouble raising to much preflop..


Would you play a 22 preflop or fold em?

I generally make a mild raise, 3 or 4 times the blind.. just to see whats out there.. nothing real huge.. but bet it and see if u can take it down preflop...

If im short stacked, I might just choose to go all in..

Now if I hit a re-raise, I am never sure.. call or fold.. did I meet up with a strong ace, or a better PP?
