Do you talk in the Poker chat?

On the Poker chat, well, usually online there is a chat box along with the play box, do you use it? I do sometimes, but only if other people are using it. I never talk unless I see other people talking. But that's not good if everybody follows that rule. That's why I always hated when I was young and my parents would say "you should listen more than talk" and I would think "if everyone did this the world would be mute".

Often, I use it to distract the other players. Sometimes it works, but most of time it doesn't. It's worth a shot though, isn't it?

i do not pay any attention to the chat. it is either my opponent distracting me or it is someone fighting. who has time to watch the chat anyway if they are paying attention to the game

It depends for me. Sometimes I will chat if I have friends in the room. If not I just ignore it so I can concentrate on the game.

I don't talk in the chat rooms , but I have read some of the posts in them , and some of the people in some of them are pretty hostile! I think some of them are trying to intimidate the other players.

I rather enjoy watching people yell at each other it gets them frustrated and takes away from their game which is better for me. Sometimes I add my 2 cents but for the most part I just sit, play and laugh. People crack me up sometimes with what they say and how they try to express themselves using a keyboard. I say just play the game and like the old saying goes 'if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all'.

You know what's funny? i was just telling you that i do not talk in the online games. yesterday i had to curse someone out in the game. i actually held up a game and lost concentration because i stopped to type a book. my advice to you is to just ignore the people in those chats because nothing good will come out of it.

I would rather not talk online to other people. I don't konw, it's just not something that I would like to do. I have always been uncomfortable talking online to people I don't know...

I never shut up, not in real life, not online. Poker games are no exception. I guess being a mom probably has something to do with it.. lol.. No matter what is going on around me, I can hold a cheerful conversation.

My heart may be pounding, my hands might shake.. if I lifted them from table.. but I have no problem talking, and laughing..

I love poker!! For the game, and the fun! The chit chat is great!

I chat, unless the chat is bothering me.. Then I block it.. Alot of players use the chat to 'tilt' other players, and the wonder of online poker chat.. is that I don't have to waste my time reading it!

Its funny how many people will play online, and take the chat so serious!!! Become 'tilted' (hehe) and lose all their cash.. guess they havent figured out how to block chat yet ;)

I always use the chat, although I never get involved in the stupid arguments!
