I am not a good trapper. As soon as I get a good hand, I don't know what to do. I usually just raise a lot, but then people catch on to me and fold. The good thing is, sometimes I'll have a bad hand, and I'll start raising every chance I get, and everybody folds. Only one time did I win with a pair of 3s by doing that, everybody folded, but that's the only time that has happened. What are your trapping techniques?

As far as raising goes the best thing to do is to be consistant. If you always raise the same amount every time it will be harder for someone to tell if you have an ok hand or an excellent one.

I agree. If you bet the same amount all of the time and then go all in people will think twice than if you are all over the place.

Unless I have read someone else as weak I only will bet on cards I think can win. I always bet for at least half the pot.
