Weekly Tourneys

How many of you have weekly tourneys in your home or friends home? I am going to start having them with my roommate and friends. Anything to be wary of except for sleepiness?

We don't have weekly tournaments, but my co-worker does. She started out wewith just a few people and now she has way too many people and she's trying to find a bigger place to play.

My friend has weekly tournaments, and she said they sometimes play through the night, so definitely watch out for sleepiness. I would take a nap before it starts if I were you becaus eyou could make some silly mistakes if you are tired.

We don't have weekly games but we do have monthly. Sleepiness is always a thing to look out for. Also if it is a real money game a drink is nice to relax but don't push it or you could be out of a lot of money.

My buddy lives in a frat house and they have weekly tournaments. They would have them nightly but apparently skipping class due to no sleep is frowned upon. They are poor college students but they do play for a little money but mainly for fun. They have food and drinks and cigars. It's nice one night a week just the guys hanging out, it's a break from all the studying and work. They know some day it will come to an end but for now they are just having fun and playing a little poker.

Eventually, me and my friends will get together and have some fun. Maybe once a week or so. I never have that much money :P

Truthfully, I play about once a month at home. I don't get too into that stuff at home. I mean, sure it's fun and all, but I would rather prefer to go to a real casino.
