PokerStars sponsors Shaq's celebrity bash

Poker Stars hosted NBA superstar Shaquille O'Neal along with a group of celebrities at a South Beach party to celebrate Shaq's 33rd birthday. The online portal sponsored a lavish event that took place last month at the Hotel Victor in Miami, Florida.

Shaq was presented with a certificate awarding him 1 year of poker lessons from 2004 World Series of Poker champion Greg Raymer. In addition, the website purchased a seat for Shaq at the 2005 World Series of Poker.

Those who were invited to the event got to spend some quality time with Shaq and rub shoulders with some of the famous guests. Among the celebrities that were in attendance were Shaq´s Miami Heat teammates, Donald Trump, rapper Timbaland, and actress Tara Reid. Guests were also invited to play in several poker games. They competed for $200 and $500 coupons that were donated to the winner's charity of choice.
